Walking with Maryana Alexandrova
Tatyana Saltykova, the project manager, told Radio Russia - Karelia 102.2 FM about the transformations for Chinese tourists that had been made in the entrance area of the museum, including the modernization of key services for receiving the guests: the wardrobe, the ticket office, souvenirs showcases and the navigation system.
For almost a year since the start of the "Museums in Focus" project, the project team has been able to develop and modernize the key services that “meet” guests in the museum, even despite the pandemis restrictions.
Maryana Aleksandrova, Head of the Radio Broadcasting Service of the TV and Radio Broadcasting Company Karelia, was also interested in the progress of a new section of the permanent exhibition in the museum dedicated to the Karelian-Finnish epic poem "Kalevala" that is palanned to be opened by the Day of Kalevala on February 28, 2021.
The recording of the conversation summarizes the interim results of the implementation of the KA9021 project "Museums in Focus: the Development of Cultural Services for Chinese Tourists" for the first year and is available on the link https://vk.com/radiokarjala?w=wall-89382245_8483
