Exhibit Invented and Created in Karelia Opened

Karelian craftworkers presented 112 crafts and design products to the contest "Invented and Created in Karelia", some applications from the Republic of Komi, Arkhangelsk and Murmansk regions were also accepted. Winners were selected based on novelty, sociocultural significance, validity of constructive decisions, quality of performance and competitiveness. Most qualified products will represent Karelia at a national exhibition in the Fashion and Design Center of the All-Russian Museum of Decorative Arts in Moscow. Winners also received certificates for technical support such as consulting services for product promotion, company rebranding, professional photo session or corporate identity creation.

In October 2020, best crafts and design from across Karelia are exhibited in the Consulting Center "Northern Crafts ID". The contest was organized by Association ECHO and Karelian regional branch of the Union of Designers of Russia under support of Karelia CBC Programme, Presidential Grants Fund and "Petrozavodsk - capital of Russian design - 2020 ".
