The application is filled in PROMAS.

This is a supplementary Call for Proposals for re-committing released funding. Selected projects can be either development or capitalisation projects.

A development project is working towards a defined specific objective related to the programme priorities and priority elements. Minimum amount of the total cost of the project is 50 000 EUR. 


A capitalisation project is linked to an implemented Karelia CBC project, either finalised or ongoing. The aim of the project is to further improve the outputs of the project, further disseminate the results of the project and share experiences with relevant stakeholders. Minimum amount of the total cost of the project is 20 000 EUR and the maximum amount 60 000 EUR.

This call for proposal re-commits funding released from the implemented projects. The overall amount made available under this call for proposal is not known at the time of launching the call but will change according to the amount of released funding.

The call is one-phased. 

The Managing Authority provides information related to the call for proposals, applying for funding and preparing the application and offers applicants a possibility for bilateral consultations.  A bilateral meeting can be booked on calendar.

The required annexes are submitted only in PROMAS. There is no need to submit printed annexes attached to the printed and signed application. Please, do not attach any other than required annexes to the application. They are not taken into account in the evaluation.

 



Calls for Proposals in 2019

A call for proposal relating to Priority 3, Clean and comfortable region to live, and focusing particularly on waste management and preserving/improving the biodiversity of the Programme area was opened on October 1st and closed on 5th December 2019.  The overall indicative amount made available under this call for proposals was EUR 5 043 597.

An infrastructure investment component minimum of EUR 1 000 000 needs to be included in the project proposal. The call is one-phased. 

The Call was opened with a suspension clause, meaning that before signing of the Grant Contracts a prior approval for the changes to the Joint Operational Programme by the European Commission is needed.

Calls for Proposals in 2018

The Calls for Proposal opened on 27th August 2018. The priorities Growing cross-border business cooperation (priority 1), Attractive cultural environment (priority 2) and Clean and comfortable region to live (priority 3) were opened.

All the remaining resources for the regular projects, a total of 6 758 319 €, were available. To the first priority 2,67 million Euros was reserved, to the second priority 2,01 million Euros and to the third priority 2,03 million Euros. 

The call for proposals was organised in two phases. The first phase was open from August 27th to October 15th.

Calls for Proposals in 2017

The first Calls for Proposals was opened on January 16th and the next on March 2nd 2017.

In January a Call for Proposal for regular projects in the priority Attractive cultural environment and calls for proposals for micro projects in the priorities Growing cross-border business cooperation and Clean and comfortable region to live were opened. The micro calls were open until March 23rd and the regular call until March 31st.

In March Calls for Proposals for regular projects in the priorities Growing cross-border business cooperation and Clean and comfortable region to live was opened. The calls were closed on May 11th.
