Schoolchildren from Petrozavodsk visited LOKKI media space

LOKKI project presentation for schoolchildren

Lokki project works with a huge number of target groups and one of the most important is young people.
January 24 schoolchildren from Petrozavodsk visited media space of the Karelian cinematographers Union. Excursion for children was held by the Chairman Alexey Babenko.


Guys visited the real cinema hall, where the movie “Pineapple” was made, learned about the upcoming Cyber ​​Revolution 4.0 and about the challenges how to prepare for it.

Film Director Ivan Kulnev told about the development of cinema in Karelia, about how modern films and web-series are shot.

Alexey Rogozin - head of the international projects sector  at PetrSU, presented the international project KA3008 LOKKI, which aims at developing local cinema in the Republic of Karelia and Finland. Also he told that there will be possible to study filmmaking  and film production at Petrozavodsk State University in 2020.
