Seminar “Summer Theatre: Professional Approach”, 19 March at the State National Theatre of Karelia

Teatteri-Traktori (Finland, Joensuu) will hold a seminar on “Summer Theatre: Professional Approach”, 19 March at the State National Theatre of Karelia.
During the seminar, experts will share the experience in organizing the “Summer Theatre” in the following aspects:
- specifics of street performances: direction and stage, light and sound design;
- marketing;
- collaboration between state and commercial structures.


Teatteri-Traktori is a group of professionals in the field of theatre, music and dance, which creates theatrical productions, combining art, education and social activities. 
The theatre was founded in 1996. The first performance was " Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream on a tractor and bikes in North Karelia". 
Since then, the theatre has performed at various venues - in fields and parks, in villages and cities, both in summer and in winter.
In 2018, more than 18 thousand spectators watched the theatre performances.
