The InterActive History project presents its results to local residents

The InterActive History project starts a series of events to close the year and feature the achieved results.

The project is aimed at introducing new interactive services in participating museums based on research and interpretation of local cultural heritage. Therefore, the upcoming events are focused on involving local communities in interaction with museum products and historical sites in the project’s locations.

The project events presenting its results will be held in three locations: in Petrozavodsk at the National museum of the Republic of Karelia, in Olonets at the National museum of the Southern Karelians and in Kurkijoki at the Local history center. The format of the events is varied: from online and offline laboratories, quests and master classes for local residents to business programs for experts.

Petrozavodsk and Kurkijoki will be the first to host the following events in December:

December 11-12 – promenade performance “The square of immense perspectives”, National museum of the Republic of Karelia, Petrozavodsk, Lenin Sq. 1;

December 14 – laboratory for youth and teenagers “How to talk about your native region in the media” conducted by Noname art duet (Anna Lyalina and Maxim Omelchenko from Moscow), Local History Center, Kurkijoki, Zarechnaya St. 11;

December 18 – Sound laboratory and offline performance “Historiofonica”, National museum of the Republic of Karelia, Petrozavodsk, Lenin Sq. 1;
