InterActive History project presentation in Valtimo
Reeta-Mari Kellokoski, an employee of the InterActive History project from the Museum of North Karelia (Joensuu), presented the project as part of the Day of Local History Museums in Valtimo.
North Karelian Museum and Valtimo-Seura association organized a day for local history museums in the municipality of Valtimo, North Karelia. The day’s program consisted of interesting presentations about current themes in the field of museums and people from local history museums got a chance to meet each other. InterActive History project coordinator Reetta-Mari Kellokoski from North Karelian Museum gave a presentation about “Story design and participation in the InterActive History project: case Utra ennen ja nyt”. Valtimo-Seura association has opened three new local history museums during the last one and a half years and we visited all of these wonderful local history museums. Wilma Klippel, an employee of the Valtimo-Seura association, introduced us exhibitions of these museums.
