Clean Games presented at 12th International Conference on Environmental Pollution and Remediation

The project SUSWAM has proudly presented the pilot of Clean Games in Finland at the 8th World Congress on New Technologies, as part of the 12th International Conference on Environmental Pollution and Remediation. The presentation was done under the category of Environmental Sustainability and Risk Assessments. 

Clean Games were presented as an innovative digital tool to encourage learning and support people with different learning abilities and preferences. Clean Games raises environmental awareness, engages locals in volunteering and promotes equality among people. All these relate to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. 

The project shared own experience adapting the Clean Games in Kajaani and organising the pilots among representatives of local waste management stakeholders, educational institutions and families with children. 

Presentation was warmly welcomed and raised the interest to the Clean Games. Additional ideas on promoting the concept were  suggested.
