InterActive History project events in Joensuu
North Karelian Museum’s InterActive History project organized three storytelling workshops and one quiz event during January and February. Theme of the storytelling workshops was the river Pielisjoki, which is 67 kilometers long river in Eastern Finland and it flows across the city of Joensuu. Storytelling workshops were organized in Yhteisötalo Satama, ToriKievari and Eno library in Joensuu. Discussion was lively and lots of memories and stories related to Pielisjoki river area were shared. Besides, a quiz event was held in Utra old school building with the theme Utra district’s history on Valentine’s Day, which is celebrated as Friend’s day in Finland.
