The winners were chosen among 25 nominations in the following categories: "Product of the Year", "Project of the Year", "Achievement of the Year", "Media of the Year", "Industry Recognition".

The design team - Anastasia Dubrovskaya and Andrey Skritsky - presented their design project "Kalevala Universe", that had been realised at the beginning of the year in the Museum of Fine Arts of Karelia within the project "Museums in focus". They competed in the category "Interior lighting of the museum and exhibition areas" and became the winners in the "Project of the Year" nomination.

In the same nomination there were 2 more winners: the project of lighting of the Konigsberg Cathedral on Kant Island in Kaliningrad (category "Lighting of building facades") and the project of creating a harmonious lighting system for the section of Moskovsky Prospekt from Victory Square to the Obvodny Canal embankment in St. Petersburg (category "Outdoor lighting").

The winners of the Golden Photon Award are considered to be the quality standard on the territory of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union. The Eurasian Golden Photon Award is given to unique products and solutions that stand out for their innovation, energy efficiency and reliability. The status of the “Golden Photon” winners is rightfully the guarantor of bona fide manufacturers and service providers and becomes a guideline when choosing a product, contractor or service.

All winners receive the Golden Photon statuettes, and the products and services of the nominees, laureates and winners of the award are marked with a special distinction for customers, distributors and end consumers. The organization of the Award is based on four main principles: independence, openness, expertise, incorruptibility. The unconditional and indisputable quality of the products, projects and solutions presented for the Award remains unchanged and fundamental. All applications undergo a multi-stage selection: from independent laboratory tests to the assessment of a highly professional jury. As a result of such verification, only the best of the best become the winners of the Award.

The design project "Kalevala Universe" was implemented in the Museum of Fine Arts of Karelia within the framework of the project "Museums in Focus: Development of Cultural Services for Chinese Tourists" (CBC Karelia).

We sincerely congratulate our colleagues and partners - Anastasia Dubrovskaya and Andrey Skritsky - for their achievments and high quality of their work!
