Kantele-GO! Gala concert

On 22 November 2021 the Kantele-GO! Gala concert took place in Petrozavodsk. The concert was arranged by the Karelian National Song and Dance Ensemble "Kantele".  The concert became an important event for general public and the project participants who were constantly involved into the project events during the previous three years: kantele marathons, master courses, concerts and music laboratories. The results of valuable co-creation were presented at the Gala concert by artists of the Karelian National Song and Dance Ensemble "Kantele", art director Elena Magnitskaya, and students of the Youth Studio, artistic leaders Aleksandra Sakharova (kantele) and Marina Tukkia (vocal), as well as solo performers and ensembles of kantele players from Petrozavodsk, Pryazha, Essoila and Kondopoga: 

  • "Pilli" under the leadership of Julia Tolmacheva (Pryazha),
  • "Runa" under the leadership of Dmitry Mukhorin (Pryazha),  
  • "Liruttis" under the leadership of Marina Lukina (Essoila),  
  • "Little Spindle" under the leadership of Maria Zaitseva (Essoila),  
  • "Pikkurili" under the leadership of Anna Kovaleva (Kondopoga), 
  • ensemble of kantele players under the leadership of Nadezhda Drobyshevskaya (Petrozavodsk Music College name after Carl Rautio),
  • folk ensemble under the leadership of Igor Solovyev (Petrozavodsk State Glazunov Conservatoire), 
  • "Kanteletar" under the leadership of Elena Magnitskaya (Petrozavodsk State Glazunov Conservatoire) ,  
  • "Sadakieli" under the leadership of Nadezhda Drobyshevskaya (Petrozavodsk Public  Art School),
  • "Silver Strings" under the leadership of Tatiana Trunova (Petrozavodsk).
