InterActive History workshop in the Night by the River Festival

Night by the River Festival was held on 23rd August in Joensuu.

Night by the River is an annual culture festival and the events are spread around the Joensuu city centre by the banks of the river Pielisjoki.

This year also InterActive History participated the festival and organized a workshop in North Karelian Museum. The workshop was called "Utran vanhan kansakoulun oppitunti" (Lesson in the Utra old school) and it introduced the Utra district’s history in interactive and playful way and the participants got a chance to join an old-fashioned school lesson. The lesson consisted of singing and practicing handwriting for example.
