61 concept notes submitted

The last call for proposals for regular projects was closed on Monday 15th October. Altogether 61 concept notes were submitted within the deadline. The requested amount of funding is 24,5 million Euros - compared to the available 6,8 MEUR this means that approximately 28% of the applications will be successful. 

Attractive cultural environment was the most popular priority with 23 submitted concept notes. To the priorities Growing cross-border business cooperation and Clean and comfortable region to live 19 concept notes were submitted. This time the Lead Partners are more often from Finland, this is the case in 40 concept notes.

The Selection Committee will evaluate the concept notes in December in Petrozavodsk. The best concept notes are then invited to submit a full application in the second phase of the call. The second phase will be open from January 8th to March 12th 2019. The decision on projects to be funded will be made in June 2019 and projects are foreseen to be launched in autumn 2019.
