The second phase of the calls for proposals, that are foreseen to be the last ones in the Karelia CBC Programme, closed today. Altogether 33 applicants were invited to the second phase and all submitted a full application.
The requested amount is a total of 13,8 M€ compared to the available 6,8 M€ - the applicants seem to have taken into account the advises on cost-efficient budgeting since the requested amount is slightly smaller compared to what the same applicants requested in the concept note phase.
The Joint Selection Committee is now beginning the evaluation of the applications and will meet in May to discuss on the selection of the proposals. The project selection will be confirmed by the Joint Monitoring Committee in early June and the projects are foreseen to be launched in autumn.
